Victoire de Castellane is the queen of enamel and jewels. She creates Christian Dior fine jewelry collections. The fringed bangs, fashioned before she was five years old, the improbably high heels, the flared (preferably black) skirts: Victoire de Castellane¹s silhouette is a poem in itself. Her eyes convey a mix of candour and fantasy, and the ever present smile is often cheeky. She is a fabulous woman with great style and adorable personality.
Her jewelries are huge, bold, chunky, glamorous. It’s like wearing a little forest or a fairytale on your body.

BLIND ADAM AT HYDRA SCHOOL PROJECTS
BLIND ADAM is an art project, debuted in 2007, by Athens based Thanos Kyriakides. Having collaborated, as fashion editor, with numerous Greek editions of international magazine titles (Vogue, L'Officiel, etc.) since 1989, he decides to combine his studies on History of Art, his experience in fashion as well as his visual impairment (retinitis pigmentosa, a degenerating disease of the retina), to come up with BLIND ADAM.
This project is mostly inspired by Jean Cocteau's and Giacometti's artwork and by the allegoric tale "The Emperor's new clothes". The basic idea is the creation of pieces, made from assembled hand-knotted yarn, that resemble clothes' skeletons or different forms, depending on the concept each time. These pieces can have various interpretations. Their other characteristic is that they could also be worn. These continuous project, presented in acts, has references, expresses antitheses and sets questions on the ideas of reality, hallucination, blindness, vision, religion, spirituality as well as other fundamental issues that have been always puzzling humanity. It is also a comment on the essence of fashion.
The BLIND ADAM project also includes canvas series, sculpture installations and films.

Zandra Rhodes
Zandra Rhodes is an English fashion designer.
Rhodes was one of the new wave of British designers who put London at the forefront of the international fashion scene in the 1970s. Her designs are considered clear, creative statements, dramatic but graceful, bold but feminine. Rhodes' inspiration has been from organic material and nature. Her approach to the construction of garments can be seen in her use of reversed exposed seams and in her use of jeweled safety pins and tears during the punk era.
Zandra also has her very own collection of jeweller.
Rhodes' unusual and exceptional designs are just as breathtaking today as they were when she began as a textile designer almost 40 years ago. Highly admired, Rhodes continues to be "the" designer for cutting-edge fashion in a variety of forms.
She is an authentic fashion icon, a punk woman who will never stop dyeing her hair because she don’t want to look like a grey-haired old lady..
She is colorful and fabulous.

James Thiérrée- pure inspiration
I think that fashion has to explore new horizons. Theater, cinema, art, galleries, next door people, literature, music, revolutions, poetry, everything. Every designer has to have his eyes open.. Fashion is everywhere.
I saw "Raoul Creation" at REX theater. This is the portrait of a human being, master of all he surveys, both as familiar and strange as the neighbor we meet every day, the story of the mishaps of a slightly schizophrenic madcap pent up in a tower with all manner of phantasmagorical animals. James Thiérrée’s fourth full-length creation, Raoul is a solo theater piece blending contemporary circus, movement, music and poetry) was co-commissioned by the Barbican Centre and made its debut in London in October 2009. A talented handsome man.. His beauty and his passion is inspiration for me...
I want to dress bodies whose soul appears!

Anna Piaggi
